Curcumin inhibits expression of brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in hippocampus of mice with sleep deprivation

Purpose: To determine the inhibitory effect of curcumin on expression brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in hippocampus mice with sleep deprivation.
 Methods: Expressions BDNF and miRNA-206 were evaluated using quantitative real time-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) a sleep-deprived mouse model. Interaction was assessed by dual luciferase qPCR) assays. The also determined qRT-PCR.
 Results: significantly suppressed deprivation group compared control (p < 0.05). Treatment activity wild type (WT) reporter gene vector 0.05) rather than mutated (mut) vectors. Inhibition upregulated RNA protein levels 0.05), while treatment inhibited 0.01) level 0.01).
 Conclusion: Curcumin inhibits upregulating tissues relationship between might provide new direction for development therapeutics deprivation.
